Phillies and Dodgers Clinching

Well, what did you expect? The Phillies had five days to win one game, and right now, they're leading 10 to 3 in the 8th, you kind of expect them to clinch tonight, especially with the Braves losing 5 to 2 in the ninth.

The Dodgers haven't played yet, but I expect that after a three-game losing skid, they're thirsty to pop some corks. I'll be watching, seeing if my first prediction come to fruition, but either way, they're going to clinch sooner or later.

Also, the Race for the NL Wild Card is disappearing each and every day. The Braves were already set back yesterday, losing in close fashion to the Fish of Florida, and the Rockies rocked Coors Field with a Chris Ianetta walk-off homer. The Rox look like they might subtract two more games on their Magic Number, as they are currently leading the Brewers 5 to 4; and as the Marlins close the doors on the Braves, the Rockies can be pretty sure they're going to sleep tonight with atleast 1 game subtracted on their magic number. Teh Braves need to get hot again, and fast. It's gonna take a Yankee type walk-off victory for the Braves to hold on to their slim amount of life in the Wild Card Chase.

Twins, Twins, Twins. I've been pulling for Twins for a long time now, but with a loss (which is likely tonight) they are putting themselves in elimination position. The Tigers Magic Number will probably be down to 2, making tomorrow night a win or go home game for the Metrodome Dwellers.

Thats all for me tonight. Gonna sit back, and watch as the Phillies clinch.

"I'll seeya tommorrow night!"
